You said "What is the pilots responsibility?" As a PPL(H) I told you. There is no absolute minimum height. Anyway, I won't be sharing with you again. If you want to know, I suggest you google.

You asked "What is the pilots responsibility?" ... which I naturally took to mean an aircraft pilot (rather than a drone operator). Why is it that people ask for info and then pick a fight? Must just be the internet ....

You are supposed to keep 500ft clear of (not 500ft above) buildings and people, and more over built-up areas. The military have their own rules though, and their own radio frequencies.

Nikon mirrorless definitely on the way

ISTR he was panning. No idea what the focal lens was but it looked quite long.

Nikon mirrorless definitely on the way

Many years ago I saw a guy with a Bronica and selection of lenses at Brands Hatch shooting F1 cars. Always wondered what the results were like.

    Super 8

I have an 8mm projector in the garage - I don't know if it's any use to anyone but I would rather it not go to the tip. I don't want anything for it.

They are great fun to shoot; unobtrusive, light & portable, and they produce excellent quality results. I like the square format too; in many ways it makes a lot of sense. Downside (I guess) is the fixed lens. But if you are stuck with one lens, there are many worse.

Glad to hear Brian is still servicing Rolleis - I haven't spoken to him for a few years but when I went through my Rollei phase he serviced a few for me. Not sure why you would shoot 35mm on one though, 120 square is a lovely format. Plenty of cheap 35mm cameras if you want to shot 35mm. I...

    300dpi ?

It says a minimum; so add some more for luck. 12" wide @300dpi/ppi would be 3600, so make it a bit bigger than that.

Large Format photography group - From "zero to hero!"

I use a fabric magnifier for a loupe and a black polo shirt as a darkcloth. It's a bit faffy, but then I am really slow at setting up anyway.

I haven't read the whole of this thread, but I use a patterson orbital which works really well. I started using it just with manual agitation which is quite easy, but now I have a motor as well. Takes 1 to 4 sheets and is easy to load and easy on chemical volumes too. I scratched the bottom...
