Official Mike's Stupendous Pentax K-1 and K-3 III thread

Very big Pentax event happening at my local shop SRS Microsystems in Watford, from what I could understand it’s the 100th anniversary UK celebration. Lots of workshops and stuff happening on the 23rd Nov. Not Pentax myself but might be of interest to others.

Olympus summer promotion cashback 2018 problems

Most brands wait at least 30 days from the date of purchase before paying out to avoid people getting the cashback and then returning the item to the shop for a refund. Because of this six or seven weeks is about right for getting paid on a claim.

New Sony A7 at Woburn Deer Park

With the 50mm lens I could only get a small part of the scene in the frame and because I was hand holding allowed plenty of overlap between each image so its two rows of 11 portrait shots but if I have the tripod could probably reduced this to two rows of six or seven.

New Sony A7 at Woburn Deer Park

Trying a Sony A7 with a few of my old film lenses to see if it convinces me to go full-frame mirrorless, so had a wander this morning through Woburn Deer Park. Early Morning at the Pond by Paul Holtom, on Flickr This was taken with an old Olympus OM 50mm f/1.8 lens set at f/8 and is a merge...
