I'm preparing myself to scan loads of old photos and was wondering, which model would you recommend nowadays? Last time I had a scanner was in 90s ;) I'm seeing that Canon LiDE 400 is often recommended.

Did you read my post? I said that it would be nice to have zoom that starts from 20mm. Not 24mm. Plenty of zoom lens with 24mm, but compact one with 20mm on wide end would be nice. Sony has 20-70mm which is ideal, Tamron has 20-40mm for E mount. It would be great if Nikon made one in their...

Nikon should release some zoom that starts from 20mm... 20-70mm f4 would be nice. Or 20-50mm f2.8.

Yep, I can confirm, received the lens today - it looks like new to be honest. Clean, no signs of use, original box, documentation, caps, hood. It was packed like untouched.

I just purchased Nikon 17-28mm lens, just travel etc It doesn't extend, but it moves inside - so thought I may buy UV filter just to secure front element. I never used filters, so wanted to check with you guys - does any UV filter will work? Is there anything I should know when bying one...

Well, even if they drop it and put out in the middle of both, still its gonna be lens bought on grey market. So as long as both shops provide the product, even with delay, or possibly return/comms issues, still I would go with cheaper.

they dont have it (its Tamron 16-30mm f/2.8 for Nikon Z)
