There is that. I might add that we, who dabble in photography, know that sharpness and accuracy isn't everything. It's the warmth of film that I enjoy.

I use both. I think that, generally speaking, black and white is best for form, and tone, and colour for subtlety, with the proviso that colour can easily appear too busy in a wider scene.

I've used a chap on ebay for the foam in the past. It comes in sheets of varying thickness, and it's just a question of cutting it into strips, as needed.

I honestly wouldn't go back to Windows at this point. I think you'd have to be mad! I'm running Mint on this one, and it's simple and unobtrusive. I remember when Windows used to be like that. :D

I think we probably all enjoy tinkering and installing a new OS. Half the fun of it is getting it just so. I'm currently running Kubuntu on my spare computer. Ubuntu is Gnome and Kubuntu, KDE Plasma. I never thought I would be one of those that knew the difference. :D

In my experience with both film, and digital, is that one has informed the other to their mutual benefit.
