Hmmm... I guess you could say that I'm a late starter in life. I've always had a creative side, but never really had the time, money or confidence to elaborate on that until now. I moved to Belfast from England around 3 years ago after being a single parent for 15 years and finally gave myself the push I needed to see what I could do. I've not wasted that time, having joined a photography club and inspired by my photo's started painting again and am pretty much at the peek of happiness right now.
I am interested in all kinds of photography and am not trying to specialise at this stage. I'm happy to experience all elements and find my feet as things progress. I seem to find land and sea scape as my default setting, but then that could be due to living in Northern Ireland at the moment, which is a country very rich in natural beauty. I also enjoy wildlife photography, but feel a little restrained by my equipment on that. I'm also learning to use lightroom and photoshop, so as that progresses so does the limit of my imagination within photography.
I love learning and appreciate the work of others and how that inspires and influences me. I love to share that passion and enthusiasm and hopefully will find people to share that with here.
I will be returning back to England next year at the end of Spring and am looking forward to re-discovering my own Country through the eye of a lens.
