    Waterfalls: Lancashire/Yorkshire/Cumbria

I love taking shots of waterfalls, the Yorkshire Dales being a favourite destination. Cray Gill is a particular favourite and not a busy tourist destination. Just park up and follow the sound if tumbling water. Stonesdale falls near Keld is another favourite of mine.

Diploma in Professional Photography (DiPP) - inst.org

I did my first wedding not long after I completed the wedding module. I got hold of a couple to model, took the images and submitted them. The female model (I gave her the images) plastered them on Facebook (with my permission) and I received three wedding bookings on the back of it...

Diploma in Professional Photography (DiPP) - inst.org

I finished this course a couple of years ago and yes, it does get you student rates on software. I owe this course a lot for where I am today. Well worth it, the more you put in to it, the more you will get out. To put the course into perspective, I earned the cost of the course back before...

Has anyone completed the Photography Institute online course?

I finished mine a good while ago now. You will get the doubters, you will get those who try to belittle the course but believe me, it's well worth doing and it's well worth the money. It paid for itself before I had finished the course. So knuckle down, get stuck in and get as much out of it...

You have just answered your own question. Sounds to me like there is plenty to work with. Sometimes its worth just stepping back and looking at things from other perspectives. Its forecast a lovely weekend so get out there Lyn and crack this module. Easy peasy. :-)

Do you have a river or canal, do you have a visitors centre or a popular landmark, a photogenic pub or a park? Maybe some grafiti or skate park, some market stalls or narrow cobbles streets, maybe a nice church? Trails or footpaths that skirt the town etc?

Lyn, Tell me, why would I come to your town, what is there to tempt me? I have always fancied a visit to NI but never understood what's on offer there. (This is the question I asked myself and it worked for me, in fact I got a job out of it!)

    100 Mile Adventure

On New Years Eve my wife and I decided our New Years resolution would be something different so we decided that in 2012 we would complete a minimum of 100 miles of walking in short 5 mile bursts. Its no great feat of endurance but it gets us out into the countryside and gives me a chance to...
