if i dial in 'minus 5' on the exposure compensation then the pics are 'ok' but dont understand why i am having to do this now -

i tried another lens - same type etc - but from a freinds fuji s5 pro - and the images are fine with those settings, so i should presume that the lens is faulty ? HAVE TRIED THE RESET - AND i am working on Manual Apeture setting - ps thanks for all the replies
