Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens

I`m looking at getting a macro. I`m not looking at arty fly eye pics, I don't want to capture just a part of the subject, just need something to get good quality bug/insect/moth/ etc pictures in detail and really clear, close up. Does anyone use the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens, if so...
