I was looking to replce/upgrade my 400d, and it was between the 600d and the 60d, after looking at loads of reviews, visits to shops for hands on, I've gone for the 60d. just ordered a grip and extra batteries, as will mainly have it attatched to a 28-300 L series.

I usually use a 28-300L series, plenty fast enough, good useable range, great in low light,stunning image quality. This lens is great for studio shots, and outdoor shots for a more natural look.

Anyone with this lens have any issues? mine has been faultless for the past 5 years, but following a visit to watch classic bike racing, its developed a fault. When focusing with the is set to 1, the image in the view finder jumps about like crazy, its not there with the is off, but focusing is...

the pap of glencoe is at the end of the village, on the end of the ridge. it is clearly visable, and good access from the main road. i'll post some grid refs later for you.

loads of good locations, castell coch, Ogmore / sutherndown beach, Cardiff Bay, take a short trip to brecon beacons, Ystradfellte waterfalls, kenfig pools, St Fagins centre of Welsh history( but no tripod).
