Sigma 18-250 problem?

Hi Claire I got the Sigma 18-250 about 2 weeks ago and I have noticed the exact same thing with mine. I'm using a 500d. I'm kinda happy you have the same thing because it's more likely now that it is "normal". Although I would like a diffinitive answer if anyone has one? Russell
