Rocky outcrop at beach, before earthquake

Here's a link or two: "Shag rock" has been seriously damaged: http://www.sumnercommunity.co.nz/About-Sumner/Pictures-of-Sumner/Earthquake/Shag-Rock-Now This site has the story of the earthquake's effect on the village...

Rocky outcrop at beach, before earthquake

In brief: Sumner is a coastal Christchurch suburb. Earthquakes in 2010 and 2011 more or less levelled the rock, and caused rockfalls from cliffs that form part of the suburb. These rockfalls also compromised properties in the suburb of Redcliffs which sits above Sumner. Will look for an "after".

Lovely. Particularly like 1st, 2nd and 4th shots.

    Sunrise over the mountains

Very nice indeed, and in my inexpert opinion, losing the bottom 25-35% would be even better.

    Loch Awe scenery

Love the castle shot. The first few are reminiscent of parts of New Zealand.

    Rays at dusk

Great! Don't mind the pylons, fairly unobtrusive.

    Distant cricket ground

The Basin Reserve, Wellington, taken from near the top of Mt Victoria, a couple of km or so to the northeast of it. Late afternoon in late autumn, so light was fading quite quickly. I had to cut off some unwanted foreground, and think perhaps a bit more cropping at the bottom might be needed...
