went a few years ago and did an excursion called "sinai by starlight",blown away by the veiws and stargazing. worth every penny, have you thought about a cheap underwater camera(you can pick them up for £50) for snorkelling we borrowed one when we went and got some really good shots.

I like both of these, tell me how did you power the lights on the stick.

John,the star trails were 30sec exposures. About 60 stacked with startrail software. Thanks for looking.

the starbursts are just natural,nikon kit lens. it is graves gallery,tudour square the lights change colour every 30 seconds or so.

Thanks John, i e mailed Nikon,got a reply saying i should use a 35s interval but this wont work. Anyway think i figured it, Nikons interval timer works so: i set up for a 30s exposure with a 2s interval and press start. the shutter is open for 30s during which time the camera trys to take a...

Has anyone had a problem with nikon interval timer stopping before it should,i have tried to do 60 30sec shots with 5sec intervals but it shuts off after 12/15 frames. Any advice please.

26 inch moutain bike wheel, you will also need approx 2 mtrs of lights. Any size wheel will do just need your pivot pole to be half the size of the wheel eg: 26 inch wheel = 13 inch pole.
