    Heights

We stopped halfway and eat our sarnies before going on to the top. Made it a lot easier.

    Heights

For those not afraid of heights, I would recommend this. 600metres straight down to the fjord and not a fence or barrier anywhere to stop you falling off. Surprisingly, there are very rarely any 'incidents'. Best views from about 1:30 in.

A7C zoom lens for an enthusiast

I have the A7Cii and my default, go-to, everyday lens is the Tamron 28-200 f/2,8-5.6 Does everything I want, great results and never a need to change lenses on a day out doing street stuff. I highly recommend you check it out.

    Photo Mechanic has won :-(

I saw no 'improvements' between the 'old' and the 'new' versions so decided to keep my money in my wallet until I had no choice. (I am a canny scot). Tgere is no way I am going to try to find an alternative, so will, as you had to, let the moths in my wallet see the light one day...and you...

    Photo Mechanic has won :-(

I totally agree with you, Graham. Since I found PM a few years ago, after needing to find something to replace what I was using as an Adobe subscriber, I find that my workflow has been a walk in the park; like you, I find it just works for em, doing and providing everything in one place. I would...

    You tubers

There are different versions of Epley, depending on which ear channel is affected - left or right, and then each channel can have the problem at the front, centre or back, all require slightly different movements to correct. Having suffered with BPPV for over 20 years I rely on my regular...

    WBMT.....What baffled me today

We have quite a few of these moped-cars, as they are called here, and they are classified (as the name suggests) as mopeds, are limited to 45kph and are registered for only driver +1. Can be driven from age 16. The problem with them is that can be difficult to overtake due to their low speed and...

Kickstarter "Catching the tide" photography book sale - an interesting approach

A good friend is in the process of publishing a book about the regeneration of the South Bank in London (photo and text) and has approached 3 publishers to see what the interest is. All 3 have said they are willing to take on the book and are confident in its potential, however they want 10k...

The Official TP Funnies thread ( Jokes Memes etc )

Reminds me of the old monkey/astronaut joke... Did you hear about the monkey they sent into space with an astronaut? The rocket launched and immediately the monkey was busy on his phone receiving instructions from Ground Control concerning the position, velocity, and guidance of the vehicle in...

    Best shows on Prime/Netflix?

Just watched the first episode last night, as I found Derry Girls very good and this is the same writer, however I doubt if I will be watching any more episodes as it was rubbish.
