What software are you using? LR Timelapse works great with flickering.

Have you thought of getting a GoPro? You will need a external power supply and to rig the power supply so its waterproof, but it will shoot 4k timelapses.

According to GoPro its somewhere between x2 and x2.7 depending on how high you have the stabilization turned up at full level it will crop in a bit more hence the x2.7. That video was shot with a 70-200 at 200 and a 2x convertor, without the convertor the 200 was very similar to a 400 on my 5D4...

I used Video Pad for many years before switching over to Resolve. Iif i'm just wanting a simple edit I still use it as its quicker than Resolve for a basic edit. At £60 for the home version (only has 2 soundtracks) its a nice cheap one off cost. Video Pad
