Yeah I will keep an eye out for any deals on memory cards and batteries and other boring stuff. I will also get both my sensors cleaned for free from Fuji which is always nice. I got a ticket for Pete Souza as well which will hopefully be good.
I often shoot in monochrome at weddings, obviously it actually takes the picture in colour and I convert it later but I can see it in monochrome as I shoot. I think it can help see how the lights falls etc. Personal preference though and obviously only available with an EVF and digital. Great...
I can suggest looking at red5studios they are in West Yorkshire and are great people especially if you are just starting out. I also attended a course from Brett Harkness which was great. Brett's DVDS are also worth checking out for weddings.

I would highly recommend the lastolite ezyboxes, I have the octa medium version with the 2 flash holder and I have a grid for it, great build quality easy to assemble and works well but they are expensive I admit!
I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro and a 20 inch apple Cinema Display. I have just purchased a dell u2413 monitor and was wondering if I can use them both seperatly? The Dell for the main images and the Cinema Display for my brushes and other photoshop panels. I do not require the MacBook screen...
Think tank photo have the industry standard roller bags but you pay for it! Just google search them. Plenty of other companies as well though. But I do recommend think tank.
The price will no doubt drop a little in a few months but a new D800/E is still something like 2300 now, over 2 years on so not sure how much the 810 will drop. I'm guessing a couple of hundred max but D800 used prices are getting very low now!
