Tried the olympus grip in the shop only liked it with top part of the grip found it a little bit bulky with battery part on as we'll shame they didn't sell them separately that's why i liked the idea of a Half case that's a nice set up you've got :) thanks for you reply

I think the nikon afs 40 2.8 is a great allround lens good for walk about potrait And close up shots it will also be great with your d5100 for the close up shots:) From someone who always used zooms I I find it stuck on my camera most of the time

The d5100 is a much better camera than the d3100 and are such a good buy at the moment the d5100 shares the same sensor as the d7000 The d3100 is 14mp the d5100 is 16.2 the d5100 is better in lowlight It has a better screen resolution 920k has vari angle screen shoots at 4 frames per second...

Go for the d5100 with 18-105 has the same sensor as the d7000 better in low light than the d3100 also 3.0 inch screen has better resolution 920k:)

I would also recommend the crumpler cupcake half photo :)

Yes the d3100/d3200 are Nikon s entry level cameras the d3200 is the newer model with with 24.2mp sensor etc the d5100 which is up for replacement has the d7000 sensor which is a excellent sensor 16.2mp the new version d5200 will be 24.2 but if it has a similar launch price as the d5100 779...
