That certainly helped! What really threw me was the fact that the bottom of the sensor is the top of the image. I carefully wiped across the top of the sensor where the marks were with the APS-C swap and, of course, the top of the image was unchanged! doh!

Well, I must confess, I assumed a credit card on Paypal was the same as a credit card direct. It looks like I have less protection than I thought. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Thanks, I got a response on Friday saying they will "look into it" but it's still not here. Paid on Amex using Pay Pal so yes, it is protected. I checked the reviews and they were generally pretty good but I am currently wishing I'd used a normal shop or even bought one second hand.

still no camera and tracking info gives this, no answer from the telephone number which rings for a while then says "this telephone number is no longer in service"
