    Official Talk Leica thread

M11 + Zeiss 1.4/35. This is the best 35 I've used on the M11, but sadly I'll be parting with it to fund my 35 APO itch.

If anyone has GAS, I've got a 135GM in the classifieds. :)

I think I'll try the 55/1.8. I keep reading good things about it and size/weight is really appealing. Still waiting for a Sony 50GM...

I'm looking to add a 50/55 back into my lens lineup. Previously had the Zeiss 50/1.4 and it was great but I went back to 35mm for a while and I've missed it. Before pulling the trigger on another 50/1.4 I'm also looking at the Sony 55/1.8. The size and weight is appealing but would I be...

Mint Sony A9 in the classifieds if anyone is interested. (shameless plug :)).

Looks like Sony cocked up with this one. I'm glad though, saves me some money. Unless this is a teaser and the real unveil is an A9R with everything we wished for! Yes, I'll keep dreaming :D

I resisted the A7R4 but the GAS could be strong with this one. Hope it's a turd for my wallets sake.

I thought I'd cancelled my 35mm f1.8 from Amazon but just had an email saying it has been dispatched. :$

    Digital Asset Management (DAM) Software

Thanks for the suggestions. I briefly tried Adobe Bridge but found it a bit limiting as well. I'll take a look at Digikam - it looks like it can do everything I need and more.

    Billingham 307

I’ve got a brand new 307 which I had forgotten about until this thread! I mainly use my Hadley Pro small and Hadley One as I prefer a backpack when carrying more kit. Just had a quick try and I can easily fit my A7Riii with 24GM attached, 135GM and 50 Zeiss. Plenty of room for accessories too.

    Digital Asset Management (DAM) Software

I've been a LightRoom user for years and it has served my needs but recently I've been finding limitations on the DAM side. My main issue is some video files which can't be imported into LR. Therefore I'm looking for DAM software which will allow me to manage and organise and my photo/video...

But does the Samyang perform as well, if not better, than the Sigma? I'm not sure it does. The appeal with the 45mm is the size, build and potential IQ. The 35mm 1.8 is a good alternative but it's bigger.

Me too, although initial impressions look favourable. I'm particularly interested because of its compact size but not sure about the focal length yet.
