thanx alot for all the advice guys.i think il stick with the kit lens for landscapes and such for now but it looks like il be wanting at least 200mm for airshow and stuff then.im thinkin of spending around £300 so not mega money yet as im only just startin out.

i just got me a EOS 450d with 18-55mm kit lens.my first slr. but looking at all the different lenses is a nightmare. im looking for some advice as to what i should be aiming towards please.i want a decent zoom lens as i go to airshows quite often and also could be used for animal/wildlife...
