I know this is an old thread but thought I'd add my vote too.
My husband bought an XF1 for my 40th birthday in 2014. I never felt it performed very well from the start and to be honest didn't hardly use it for quite a while. When I did start using it I found that it kept over exposing all the...
Hello everyone
I'm looking for a compact camera that I can carry around with me in my bag at all times. I own a Canon 5D Mark II but it tends to get left at home a lot because it's so bulky and I'd really like something which is more portable but still produces pretty decent pictures.
A quick...
The batteries are all quite old so probably do need replacing, they have been working fine and holding a charge up until Friday when this problem first became apparent. I thought that as it seems to be happening with all the batteries the problem would possibly lie with the charger or the body...
Quick question for those more knowledgeable than myself.
When I try to charge my batteries for my Canon 40d they are coming up on the charger as full very quickly but when I put them in the camera they then run out within about 10 minutes.
This is happening with all 6 of my batteries so I...
Thanks for this have been thinking of taking the plunge for a while and this has been very helpful :)
Have filled in the forms online and also registered for the basics course in becoming self employed - if I'm going to do this I want to make sure I'm going about everything the right way.

My current compact is really outdated (Canon Ixus 80) and I've been considering getting something newer for a while. I keep...

Looking at the responses it seems the S95 has plenty of good feedback - currently...
I think the pp has done that to it as it more of an ageing effect. It was a preset on Lightroom thought it looked ok but maybe you've picked up on something that I haven't noticed.
I will upload an unedited picture for comparison but will need to get it off my external hard drive , might not be...
They specifically asked for some photos of her with the dog as apparently they are best of friends. There are more shots of the baby on her own tried to make a mix of solo ones and one with the dog in them too :)
Number three for me - looks more natural and less posed. The others are nice but agree the eyes need to be less dark, bring them out a little, not too much so that it doesn't look totally unatural but enough to make them pop a bit.
I am in the process of building up my business. Have been trying to tap into the baby, mummy, family area as think thats where I am best and having a nine month old myself know how treasured those early ages are photograph.
I recently did a shoot for a family, daughter ages eight and a half...
