I've never really attempting a BIO before, but here goes.
*Warning, this first paragraph may be depressing*
In 2009, my wife and I had our first child. Unfortunately she had a heart condition and we had to come to terms with the fact we would lose her within the first week of being born. This prompted me to buy my first DSLR, a Sony A200. During the week we had our daughter, I took so many pictures & videos, it was unreal. Ultimately, I wanted to capture her as we remembered her, a stunning and precious little one.
So, I continued to use my DSLR and found a love for photography. I would regularly trek out to take shots of the natural beauty around my local area with friends and family. No matter where I was, my camera did, and still does, continue to accompany me. After a few years of using my Sony, I unfortunately sold it to fund a Canon 7D. The 7D was my dream camera, the functionality, quality of the product and the 8fps was particularly attractive as I wanted to get into birds of prey. It also helps with kids.
Since this, my skills have developed as have my collections of accessories and lenses. I have a love for taking macro and landscape shots and eager to learn new techniques around using the equipment to its full potential. I’m even branching out into weddings & learning to use filters.
I’m also an avid PC gamer, I have built and own a nice little rig which keeps me going when I cannot get out with the camera. Primarily playing FPS games, BF3/4, Contagion, Day-Z, I enjoy a good LAN sessions with friends accompanied by beer.
