I've never found it an issue to just carry it in my hands, never seen the point in using a flimsy lightweight tripod just so it goes in or attaches to a bag.
It kinda defeats the object of a tripod being firm and steady to use.
Is the short supply due to peeps just sticking one on every EF lens they own instead of buying RF glass. Before the R5/6 there used to be lots of them around. so just goes to show the popularity of these new cameras
Just had email from WEX, My Canon RF 70-200mm F4L IS is now in stock. This lens was meant to be delayed till spring due to production problems. So I’m happy to be getting it much sooner.
What about the Canon RF 70-200L F4 ? i traded in my EF 70-200 because i thought the RF version was coming out soon but i saw a report that it wasnt now coming out till March, WTF canon.
I should be getting my R5 from Wex this week, Had phone call to say they were getting stock in.
Now how long is the wait going to be for the free adaptor from Canon UK?
Wex is still way behind, I was told they are up to fulfilling orders from July 22nd, I'm still waiting for my R5 which was placed on the 29th.
Rediculous when there are sellers on amazon uk selling the R5.
Really? i just had a quick look on amazon uk and the aluminium version is around £140 and the carbon £260
Its still the same tripod and not 25% of the price.
i had a similar scratt on with the normal befree a while back, turned out the leggs werent secure enough and the head keep loosing off the clamp.
do yourself a favour and buy a decent tripod.
buy cheep buy twice is the old saying.
