Cracking shot, with reference to the post the poor birds would be a bit tired if they didn't have a post to sit on now and again!!! Nothing wrong with a bird on a post/twig mate. Lol

Good shots given me a nudge cos I have a carting centre near me. I like the angled shot best lovely n sharp.

We used to get hundreds in Lincolnshire but sadly they seem to be on the decline. Great shot really shows the detail.

Hi Lesley Junior sport photography is what I do for a living and with events like your sons you have to grab what you can when you can as its all fast action. So what do we do? Take a young enthusiastic individual with the white gear on stand a distance away in the area that you will be taking...

Just as a matter of interest, and being a boring sports photographer how could you have made that shot any better? As far as I'm concerned it shows the bird off just about as good as anyone could do, some wonderful colours and great detail. A cracker
