If the camera has DX coding then it can know the exposure latitude as it's actually in the specification. Not sure how many cameras actually make use of it though.
There's some useful info in this: https://thedarkroom.com/light-meter-photography/
There is the option to buy a lifetime version of Vuescan but it is several years cost equivalent. Think it is about £150 for the professional edition which includes slide/film scanning. That's about 3 years worth of the normal one.
Also got the roll back from the 500si with the 20mm and Kodak Pro Image 100. Think I paid all of £20 for that camera.

The weight limit for HGVs was increased to 44 tons in the early 1990s. I honestly think nobody has actually done anything to improve the road infrastructure to cope with it. If more heavy stuff went via rail, the roads might not be knackered as much.

I could do with a reverse rondinax where the film turns up already loaded in to a light tight thing so you pull out the leader to attach into the canister...
I contacted AW again about the weird marks on the above re-scanned ones. They have refunded half the cost of processing as a goodwill gesture.
So looks the answer is in fact - both! It was a dev and scanning issue as they hadn't done either properly :(
A few from the Silbersalz on the Pentax 17. Shot a few weeks ago. Got some cinestill knocking about somewhere so it might be interesting to compare that when the remjet is removed first rather than later.

AW have rescanned them all. Interestingly there is now some noticeable banding on some instead. Very odd. Others have a couple of band lines but this one has lots.
