I bought my lens from a legitimate seller on Gumtree, which is similar to eBay. The guy bought it for wedding photography, but his partner had just had a baby, so needed the cash. He showed me some wedding photographs he had taken, so was genuine enough. I didn't think to ask for proof of VAT...
Leading on from your question, beware of grey imports...or at least make sure you have proof VAT was paid upon importation into the UK.
I recently tried to trade-in my Canon 70-200 2.8 IS L-Series 1 lens for a Series 2 version with MPB. Because I didn't have any documentation proving VAT was...
As the title suggests, anybody dealt with HDEW Cameras?

I've never dealt with them, but they seem to have a some well-priced items I would be interested in.
Thanks for any info.

2 wheels this time. Another beaut from Paul's Model Art (Minichamps). It's a 1/12 version of the classic Laverda Jota. They don't make 'em like that anymore!

Strictly speaking, I'm breaking my own rules here, as this model is resin, not diecast...but what the hey! It's Minichamp's superb 1/18 version of Mikko Hirvonen's 2011 Rally Australia winning Fiesta WRC.

Cheers, guys. I have one or two more to photograph! As you may have guessed, I prefer low-key photography for my models. I have tried high-key only a very few times. It's much trickier to get the white-balance and exposure correct. It's a compromise between a blown out background and preserving...
Been a while! I would have preferred this model to come without a figure, as it spoils the illusion of the car being full-size. It's Minichamp's 1/18 model of Lewis Hamilton's 2013 Mercedes F1 showcar.
