I would have bought the Sony RX10 like a shot if it wasn't for a couple of slight niggles, it only zooms to 200mm so your basically stuck with that. The other thing is to do with the video, Sony for some reason are using an older type codec for the video (avchd) and it only has a micro HD port...

I'm looking to upgrade my current Lumix bridge camera to something a bit more upto date with better images, one that has good video and sound would be ideal. Its a minefield when your looking at camera reviews online, you'll get one review that raves about a certain camera then the next review...

Thanks, i`m leaning towards the one on the link i posted which is made by Velbon as well like yours, you can`t really go wrong at £15 delivered, i`m only a novice at photography so i doubt i would notice any difference if i bought one of the more expensive mini tripods that are available. :D

I`m after a mini tripod and i was just wondering what everyone else was using and what you recommend ? Ive seen a few on internet searches but you can`t beat recommendations.

If demand is high which it must be at the min and stock is low then it makes sense to put the prices up, their will be a lot of people that don`t fancy paying over £300 for the new FZ38 given that it has minimal upgrades hence they are snapping up the FZ28.

Ive decided to keep the FZ28 that ive just bought as the Panasonic 25% off voucher apparently runs out on the 1st August before the FZ38 is released on the 11th August. I don`t think their is enough of an upgrade on the FZ38 to justify spending over £300 on it, like i was saying above its...

I previously had a 40D and i was told by a few people to get the 40D over the 50D and use the money you save to invest in better glass, the information i was given is that the 40D is better for things like motorsport and fast moving action etc.
