I loved the ZF with the Voigtlander APO lenses. The problem I had with the camera was that I needed a grip as the camera felt too small for my large hands and I had to use pliers to get the SD card out of the camera. I couldn't grip the SD card with my hands.
It's one of the reasons I have...
Thanks everyone for your replies an advise.
Since switching to Sony a couple of months ago I have spent over £4.4k on my two wildlife lenses and I have decided to push the budget for a 35mm lens and will purchase the Sony 35mm GM. I usually don't have much patience and want everything...
I'm in the market for a 35mm AF lens so any recommendations please. Initial budget is £500 and I don't mind used. When I had Z8 I had the Voigtlander 35mm f2, although being a fantastic lens I think AF is better for me at present.
Crap day weather wise on Good Friday as we headed down to Mumbles for me try out my Voigtlander 28mm f2 APO. I haven't used lens outside of my property yet. Being a total div I forgot at times the lens was MF so loads of OOF pics!!
Mumbles Lighthouse....A7RV & Voigtlander 28mm f2 APO Lanther...
As it's quiet on here a couple of photos from me testing the cropping ability of the A7RV and the 70-350mm lens when a red kite flew by. Also a photo of my best friend Hugo. He is coming up to 14 years old in a month or so and is camera shy generally. I should have been better with more...
Perhaps have a try with the newer versions in Sony mount if budget allows. I currently have the 15mm f4.5 and 28mm f2 and as I'm new to Sony these are what I have gone with initially. On my Nikon Z8 & ZF I had the 35mm & 50mm f2 APO versions and I had no problems on the Z8 45MP sensor with...
Thanks for the reply.
On checking my M4 Pro Macbook has read speeds of 250Mbs I believe, so I could possibly see a big difference with a better reader and cards. I will see how things pan out with my wildlife photography and buy new if required.
I bought a TB5 enclosure for my Mac and the...
Luckily for me or not.:( When I step out of my back door my neighbour has built a kitchen extension to the side of my house and I have a nice large wall for checking decentering and corner performance.I also use my long run of fencing we have along with my garden tree branches for CA etc..
I'm more than pleased with the lens for the limited use I will mount it on my camera. When I had my Z cameras I had two 50mm lenses and they were very seldom used. I did like the Voigtlander 50mm APO though.
Hopefully you maybe be able to help or @snerkler. As your both Mac users IIRC.With...
I was hoping to try the 28mm lens out properly yesterday, on a trip down to Mumbles. Unfortunately I have sprained my wrist and my arthritis is playing up in my thumb and I didn't feel like holding the camera.
Clare would kill me if she knew I was posting photos of her at work and in her lounging clothes. Just a couple of grab shots with the recently purchased 55mm lens. Also, I don't think I have posted any photos taken with my A7R5.
I like to test a lens for sharpness when I can clearly make out a...
I had the Sport version for Tripod use and in the end I bit the bullet and bought the Z 180-600mm. I also had the 400mm f4.5 and 1.4TC and if you can stretch the budget that's the route I would take. The only F mount lens I found that really shone with the FTZii was my Sigma ART 24-35mm f2.
I can't remember what the exact recall was, but I sent my D750 for UK repair under the callback scheme for the D750 and the camera was bought from Panamoz. This was a good few years back but I believe Nikon will still honour the recall as it's a world wide situation. I suppose there's one way to...
I bought one at the end of February out of the first stock to hit the shelves. I haven't been concerned by any Vignetting when running the files through LR. The design is different to the 15mm Voigtlander I currently own and the 35mm & 50mm I owned when I had my Nikon Z cameras.
