As in it's too heavy? Dunno about that. These bodies weigh pretty much the same - the Zf is slightly lighter (it has a heavier lens on though so the all up weight in this pic is higher. I could mount the same lens on both though).

This is partly why I picked up my Zf to go with my Sony bodies. Sometimes I want a smart camera to take the photo I want with minimum fuss, and sometimes I want nice clicky dials and smooth manual focus. It's amazing how much the Sony feels like a lightweight plastic toy after using the Nikon...

Regardless if it’s film or digital, for me part of the joy of photography is capturing a moment or a moment at a place. I’ve got lenses that are “worth it” to me just because of one photo they’ve let me take. I’d have paid the cost in a heartbeat just to get that one image that will bring joy...

Before you look to the settings, what exact model of flash do you have, and is it the Sony variant (if it’s not a Sony flash)?

Very odd, I went to check mine but my latest lot I imported to Lightroom then to photos. I’ll try an import to photos next time I have the kit to hand.

Have you tried importing from the photos app directly rather than via files? The card will appear in the sidebar.

How are you checking the exif? Just in the photos app or some other means? Importing directly into photos? Or via another means? (If you share from the photos app it will strip most of it by default but it should be in there ok)

I’ve got the Restrap utility hip pack - it’s a hip back big enough to take most cameras (I can fit a Hasselblad 500 and 80mm, or Sony full frame, lens and a packable jacket) and it quickly converts to a bar bag. So smooth roads etc to the trails - on the bars. Off road and getting bounced...

24mm is the same fov as the 1x on an iPhone - so I feel that focal length feels very “ordinary” for everyday stuff. TBH in most cases if I want to shoot that wide I’ll use my phone. But in general I like teles and 35mm is “wide” for me.
