I thought I'd try something that I hadn't tried before after I had washed and waxed my car. It turned out to be quite difficult to hold the hose, not get the lens wet and take the pic at the same time but I think these snaps turned out not bad.
All comments are welcome.
A mate of mine organises gigs for acoustic and band acts in Aberdeen. I went along to take some pics. Any comments are welcome.
There are others in this album too;

Yesterday the BTCC guys came for their annual visit to Scotland!
This is the first time I've ever tried panning and I figured it's pretty difficult!!
A few of the better ones are posted below;
The few others are in this album if you wanna look...
Due to the pics on my facebook page a lot of my friends want pics of their car at Aberdeen Beach Esplanade at night.
This time it was a very nice E46 M3.
The second one I tried using the flash to help show the wheels but I'm not sure it worked right.
Only edit to the pics was blanking...
Hi,
I was out and about in Aberdeen and took these pics. Not edited in any way.
C&C would be great.
Thanks,
Gary

Having recently bought a new camera (Nikon D5100) I decided that I'd learn to use it by taking pics that I wouldn't usually take (90% of my pics are of cars!!).
These pics are not edited in any way. I would very much appreciate any comments or tips.
Thanks,
Gary

Those guys were awesome :)
As much as I'm impressed with their attitude to life the attitude to the driving was top notch too. It takes quite a lot of brave pills to drive that hard on a normal track let alone a dirt track.
Hi everyone,
my mate is a singer/songwriter and asked me to go with him to a recording studio (with my new toy, Nikon D5100) to take some videos and photos of him.
I don't usually take pics of people so I though I'd post a pic to see what you think. It's unedited too.
Any C&C is...
Hi,
I had the camera in the car with me last night and stopped for a quick pic.
I'm not very good with the camera (nikon D40) but I'm learning slowly.
Any C&C are more than welcome.
Cheers,
Gary
Hello everyone :)
I'm Gary and as the title suggests I live in Aberdeen.
A few months back I got (as a gift) a Nikon D40 with both 18-55 and 55-200mm lens kits.
I don't know much about cameras but I have read comsumer review that have said the D40 is a good place to start as a budget...
