Managed to capture my boy Charlie in all his beauty today using my A7R and Samyang 85 1.4

Tried to set up a little still life yesterday. Suppose to make it feel like a sunny Sunday morning. All shot with artificial light.

My first photo with my new set of lights I know there are flaws but I'm pretty happy with how they performed.

So I just took delivery of a Calumet 7800 geared tripod and my god it's such a difference to basic tripods Ive used in the past. The legs are like scaffold poles and while the thing weighs upwards of 4kg I plan on using it in a studio based environment so weight isn't an issue. I wanted a solid...

Just wanted to say hi after a 5 year break from photography. This site helped me o much when I bought my first ever manual controlled camera and I owe a lot to the support it gave me. I’m back and ready to start creating again. Hope everyone is safe and well.
