    Hey everyone! A newbie to the forums here, been shooting digital now since 2004 when I first acquired my D70 at Uni (studied a lot of photography). I love photography. Obviously. ;) Still loads to learn, I really want to hone my techie skills - tended to always focus more on the art side...

    Flying with camera gear -tips please

    Airlines can be random....my friend couldn't take her violin in hand-luggage and yet on a different flight, the same airline allowed her to?! I did the wedding photos for my sister on Tresco and wasn't allowed at all to take any of my camera stuff in hand luggage on the helicopter :o

    I have a D70. I am thinking about getting a 5D classic. Really fancy it..... Thoughts/advice?

    Nikon v Canon

    I've always pretty much used Nikons (from film to DSLR).....but am probably going to buy a Canon. I think both can be fine or awful in the right or wrong hands ;)
