There are some brilliant deals to be had on the 7D now, I just don't see any reason to choose this over either the 7D, I'd rather keep the second Digic and build quality.
If saving some money is the issue I'd rather have the 550D.

The over the shoulder style RS-7 will probably suit me better as I suffer a little arthritis in my neck.

The supplied strap for the 7D is a bit on the diminutive side, and when you put some glass on the front, even worse.
Can you get a nice big comfy strap to suit the 7D ?
I have a full Sigma DP2 kit thats not seeing much use, so I'm thinking of trading or selling it and getting a compact with a zoom lens.
Is there anything out there that will offer the same or better picture than the Foveon on the DP2 ?

I've fully charged mine, took it out with the camera for a two hour jaunt with the dog.
Took about 10 minutes of video, 200 or so shots some with fast multiple shot mode, battery is down one block to three blocks on the display.
Camera was left in standby.
