Just booked direct to Rotterdam Plus returns, went to Alkmaar last year via Amsterdam on Eurostar. Never got off at Rotterdam so no idea what the border control is like there, only one we haven't sampled.

Exactly, it was a strange thing to do seeing as it was the whole premise of the show.
