Well I have tried and it has taken some good action shots but it's let me down when I've needed it, will still be using it but would like an SLR alongside it.

Currently have a Hitachi HBC161E, a 16mp bridge camera thats produced some pretty good shots, trouble is the shutter speed isn't very quick. They will be both far away and close up, which is why I'm thinking of getting two lenses. Thanks :) Maybe also worth noting that I don't teally...
