Hi,the lighting is very flat and lifeless - no sparkle. Studio flash would be better. Also watches these days are usually shot using focus stacking (combining 3or4 images focused in slightly different places.

Maybe just me ? But the first thing I would have done would have been to completely ignore the Registrar. You get on with your job I'll get on with mine,they have no juristriction over photographers it is merely courtesy

Aperture is good software,but in my opinion Lightroom 4 is far better.

I Love them in general,just one little thing ! the join between wall and wooden floor is in a very odd place. Needs to be level with the base of the stand the baby is on { move the stand back }

Good effort but the background isn't pure white at all there are grey patch's all over and the one of the model car looks overlit and bled out. Difficult thing to do without a proper light table.

why would you want to match somebody else idea of how a picture should look ? do you not have your own style/taste ?

You can of course do exactly the same thing in lightroom,set up you own preferences and apply them at import. Plus you can set up different one for different situations — studio — location , etc. Much more adaptable than in camera settings.

I think it's a loverly shot ! the backlight is half a stop to bright - or the child needs to be a few feet forward,but otherwise really nice.

Hi Ya, Lightroom is of course the best software for creating slideshows from raw files.
