Noob question. My friend has a Canon 1000F film camera. I want to get them a gift for Xmas. I thought film would be nice, but I want to be sure I buy the right one. What is the right type of film? And is there an interesting film I could get them?

Thank you for the feedback. I found that the image quality went down when I go above 400 to 800 ISO, but I will continue playing around with that. BBF is new to me, thanks for the tip. DOF is increased by the F/ stop right? I do also struggle to check the sharpness of photos on my camera...
