    Pretty in pink

Forgot to add, at Twycross. What I have done to it. I tweaked it to lose some overhanging branches, got rid of the ring on its leg and then lifted the colours a little to give it some zing..

The boys are back in town...

" Nice set Russ ... is the discolouring on the fur natural or some sort of staining? " Gramps, Polar bears are actually black skinned to absorb heat, their fur is actually clear transparent hairs, but are hollow tubes to again retain heat and insulate, it is the light refraction in these...

PPPP Pelican, its beak holds more than its belly can

Twycross zoo, they are now in with the Flamingos. I include location on flickr as I have a GPS module on my camera so it gives you the exact spot :) The back of the enclosure with the overhanging branches is naturally dark, so it just needs the odd tweak to enhance that and remove the odd stray...

Download the free version of neat image, it's a cracking programme and along with removing noise it does sharpen as well, see https://ni.neatvideo.com/

    Beginner Spots on photos

When changing lenses try to keep the camera facing downwards to stop dust blowing in . and if you clean DO NOT apply pressure as you do it, its a simple contact and sweep across the sensor.

The top one could do with warming up a little on the colours, agree with what is said about being a little soft, I tend to use single point focus and try to hit it over the eye. Remember people critise to help not to appear rude, though sometimes that does not work out.

Not sure of the programme as I use Lightroom and photoshop, on the Hawk, the whites are burning out a bit, can you reduce either the brightness, white level, or possibly dehaze to bring them down a bit, other possiblity is to reduce the exposure then lift the shadows, but again i'm talking...

    Queenie, the Meatbox Update

Thanks, my main memories of them were of MRD’s, take two engine, build a frame for them with a cab between them, attach it to a thousand gallon bowser then sit in the cab running them using the exhaust funnelled through some nozzles to de- ice the runways, alter the pitch to much and watch...

lens extender compatibility on RF mount

https://www.kenrockwell.com/canon/eos-r/r.htm Holy cow! The Canon EOS R works fantastically with teleconverters and the EF Lens Adapters, with fast, full-frame autofocus with my 100‑400L IS II and even when used with both my 1.4x and 2x converters at the same time! That's a 280‑1,120mm...

    tripod

Personally I would look at used, something like this below as an example, but whatever you need to work out the weight of the camera and lens and then what the tripod is rated for... The older Manfrotto ally tripods such as the 190 are good, as is the heavier 55...

    London Camera Exchange

Bought my used EF500L from their Lincoln branch, took in my camera body, trusted to take it out of the store and take some shots with it in the street, ( mind you.. you wouldn't run far humping a 1DX with a 500MM on it lol ) told them I would check them before deciding, processed shots at home...
