You can but for very obvious reasons I tend to prefer to buy from retailers with a "no questions asked" attitude to returns!

Well my dalliance with an FZ1000 Mk2 came to a premature end just before Christmas after only owning it a few weeks. I'd attached a tripod and when picking the the combination up by the tripod head, something I've never had an issue with previously, the camera's tripod mounting bolt ripped out...

Right, I've bought an FZ1000 2 - what are some of the first things I should know/do relating to its setup and functions etc that won't be immediately obvious to someone who knows next to nothing about photography?

So with this grading system nonsense and the frankly indecipherable naming conventions I essentially just threw my hands in the air and ordered a random Panasonic today - has anyone from inside the industry ever looked at it as an outsider and thought "yep, this is all pretty straightforward"?

Why do second hand equipment sellers feel the need to come up with such utterly ridiculous grading systems? Previously the home of the "Excellent, Very Excellent, Totally Excellent, Mint Excellent and Turbo Excellent" scale, WEX are now using the classic "IN, 6, 7, 8, 9-, 9 ,9+, R, OB" scale...

It's almost twice the price! I'm not disagreeing ref image quality or anything but it is a big jump in price comparatively.
