Quite the opposite up here Ade, Just found out this afternoon One of the bird handlers at the birds of prey, went into a field of Reds to retrieve one of the demo birds who got a wee bit lost. She was attacked by 3 hinds with young. She's okay but very badly bruised.
Thanks Kaz.
It was amazing sitting watching them, 6 in the field and 2 on fence posts. Looked like they were trying out their wings after being couped up for so long
Heres 5 of them

Went out again on Saturday and got bitten by a tick, got the body off but left the head in. Had to go to hospital yesterday to get it removed and now on a heavy dose of antibiotics.
Be Careful when your out at this time of year !!!
Oh and...
Nice set of images Stu, Also great to catch up again. I noticed theres a foxglove growing in the enclosure. Next problem is how to get both in the same shot :)

f/? Youve effectively halfed the amount of light by increasing the shutter speed by 1 stop so youve now got to double the amout of light through the aperture so open up the aperture by 1 stop.
so 125th @ F/? is equal to 60th @ f/5.6
If the estate owner is kind enough to open up his grounds to the community for the event then he sounds very approachable. Wouldnt do any harm to ask.
I've never been refused access, and always met by a look of surprise by farmers at the fact that someone has actually asked permission instead...
