    100 Strangers [Round 3] **Complete** 5th April 2018..

Never had the confidence to attempt portraits of strangers in the street. Some excellent portraits in here, well done on your work

    Opinions on HDR

I occasionally use HDR to get a better dynamic range without pushing it too far. I agree with the posters above who suggest that it has it's place in photography.

    Bandstand with city view

I prefer the 2nd one although both are nice shots

I do love the Wall-E mini figure shots

Non UK New York locations away from Manhattan.

Brooklyn Bridge Park for skyline views of downtown Manhattan

Ten days scenic trip to Switzerland and possibly Northern Italy as well

Lovely shots. If you fancy Italy again try Tuscany region. Florence especially is incredibly aesthetic

Don't forget filters. Wide angle + a few filters

What will be your next photography related purchase? Or what photography gear do you lust after?

D750, 14-24mm lens + 24-70mm lens. Those plus various filters would leave me very happy and satisfied for quite a while

Good wide angle options for Nikon DX cameras?

I've heard good things about both the 10-20mm Sigma & the 11-16mm Tokina

Beginner Trip to New York Advice

You can take your tripod up the top of the Rock (well you could in 2015) but not up the Empire State. I'd recommend buying a Manfrotto Pixi tripod to take up with you, for £20 it's a little bargain if you go to places where tripods aren't allowed.

    London by phone..

My favourite of the bunch is the 20 Fenchurch Street one (2nd)

    Brooklyn Bridge

Great shots. I think that's the first time i've seen the Brooklyn Bridge shot with Brooklyn in the background rather than Manhattan.

    Day in London

Lovely shots. That's the first time I've seen that angles shot with that composition, usually I see them in portrait with the buildings then making a lambda sign
