Fantastic Jeff, these are an excellent set of photos. I didn’t get out with mine today, close friend had a heart attack last night and h was staying next door minding the neighbours house so I’m housebound this weekend now.

I didn’t hesitate for very long, ordered and due to arrive on Thursday and I can’t wait! I am right that it comes with a lens hood? I’m sure I read that it did but just checking.

Looking great already Jeff, I sold my PL 100-400 last night so now my finger is hovering over the buy button on Amazon UK as they have stock - I can’t see anywhere else with them at the moment, still showing pre order generally.

I can’t speak for Jeffs birds but there are a lot in Norfolk where I live, sometimes the roosts hold 40+ birds.

I know, GAS is a bugger isn’t it - I gave in and ordered another EM1 mkii on Tuesday which has just arrived and I’ve already put a claim in for the 17mm F1.2 lens. I’ve also had the same mental fight over the 100-400 but decided that the PL 100-400 that i already have is sufficient for my needs...

Just make sure that they are Amazon UK and not a third party seller as they don’t qualify. Only saying as I almost pushed that button but realised they would’nt be valid to claim the lens.

Yep, but of a no brainer really - even if you don’t want the lens It can be sold, the camera then becomes cheap as chips!
