What camera could have been used....

Instamatics were 110 and 126; 110 were rectangular format, 126 was square. Procutframing is not wrong....there is a possibility that the prints were cut square from 135mm film shots...unless the negs are nearby we won't know the answer.

What camera could have been used....

Not sure, I had a Boots 126 in 1979/80, film was available for a while. But I remember when I was a boy I wanted the Kodak and gutted to get the Boots one.

What camera could have been used....

    126 format maybe, I don't remember 35mm cameras offering a square format.

    90's electronic SLR's - metering?

the meters should compensate for any filtrations regardless of camera which has internal metering calibrated to 18% grey.... For a yellow filter I think the camera will compensate by around a stop or so.

    Review Sony A7RV, Nikon Z8 + Canon R5ii

Just puzzled about your assessment of the Nikon Z lens lineup, and not comment on the Canon in the initial post. My OH is a Canon user and got an R6 about 4 years ago...when it came to a telephoto lens to replace her 100-400 EF Mk2, there is nothing she considered to be a suitable replacement...

Canon EOS R7 and Canon RF 100-400mm for bird photography?

Get the EF version, the RF is a bit of a downgrade (f8) in my opinion.. OH swapped her RF100-500 back to EF 100-400Mk2 - minty ones are approx £1000

    Why lopsided

I think the shots would look odd if the cars were static or looked static, but if the car is obviously moving (bit of blur and wheels spinning) a 'lopsided' image adds a bit of dynamism...

    Non UK Bhutan

Come back after 16500 images taken - a mass cull to do - <1000 images were taken in Calcutta though. The imagery was fantastic. Could not take images inside the temples (understandable!) but Trongsa and Panukha Zhongs were incredible. The walk to Tiger's Nest is quite a feat - don't do it if...

    Markets Lift at last !!

Standard Life and L&G due soon - that's Bhutan paid for (and overdue service for D500).

    Markets Lift at last !!

Banks and Insurance are cornerstones of my portfolio, bought Natwest, Barclays and Lloyds at their low point and the dividend cover is now generous compared to what I paid, same for Standard, Aviva and L&G. They've all just paid for my recent Bhutan trip (all in ISAs of course). Volatility in...

    Markets Lift at last !!

Noticed that, I wished I'd bought some when they were rather low, I had bought some just at their previous peak. Also, Rio Tinto shared have nearly doubled in the past year, another one I missed...

Image edits to fit accepted norms set by judges.

The crop is better on the second but....the lady walking the dog doesn't quite stand out so much...probably lifting the shadows and reduced contrast a little too much. I am a regular club-competition entrant and I tend to find judges a bit of a mixed bag, once they are fixated on a particular...

Canon users -are RF lenses worth the premium for hobbyists?

you're not the first to ask that - she found it a bit unwieldy compared to her 100-400 EF Mk2, and she had fewer 'successful' shots with the 100-500. She got a deal against a 300/2,8 EF mk2 at MPB, and hunted down a decent 100-400... She didn't get on with the 150-600 Sigma (C) lens either...

Canon users -are RF lenses worth the premium for hobbyists?

OH sold her 100-400 EF Mk2 when she bought her R6, used the money to get the RF100-500. Didn't like it. She has since bought another 100-400EF, which she is happy with. Apart from the ef17-40/4 and 24-70/2.8 mk2 her other lenses are now RF.
