Back again folks :) The light was horrendous, dismal grey cloud with occasional wet stuff dropping out.... The reason the rigging-shot is fuzzy, is likely due to the distance at the time, 'twas hand-held after all ;)

I can well believe it with the sub-sonics from the back end of a Lightning, it could be hard to breathe sometimes just from the pressure-waves from those engines :D

Yep, the Lightning often flew at the early Biggin Hill displays, it's usual trick was to sneak in quietly just (a faint whistling sound) as the previous planes left the area, then when about halfway along the crowd-line perform the fastest 90 degree vertical climb I've ever seen, while...

I'm using the PC I built myself 3ish years ago, based on an AMD Piledriver 3.8GHz quad-core processor and an NVidia GTX-950, along with 8Gb RAM, all lovingly hand-crafted in a 'Corsair Silent' case .... :D I cannot stand Apple, but each to his/her own ;)

It was to a certain point, but it gave me a good grounding in dial-twiddling, along with which scene-settings were useless (i.e. 'Sunset' completely over-saturates the colours) :LOL:

The only thing I'm lusting for is some warm sunny weather to photograph in, rather than this dismally dull, flat sky with mizzling rain.... Unless of course Nikon or someone develops a new camera with a 40Mpx sensor and a lens that can range from 25mm to 1800mm at f2.8 throughout, ohh and...
