I retired from working in 2009, and bought my first digital camera (FujiFilm s1500, bridge camera) the same year. I had done film photography with a Nikkormat SLR with a basic darkroom in the late 1960s but stopped due to its growing expense. Over the years from 2009 I have bought many other used point and shoot cameras - taking advantage of their falling prices since their popularity has been supplanted by the smart phone. I also own two ILC's - an Olympus PM2 and PL5 with five prime consumer lenses and two zooms. My preferred method of shooting digital has always been Program mode. However, recently I began shooting full manual mode on my Canon sx120is which has a fixed lens of 6.0-60.0mm at f2.8-4.3. This very bright lens has made shooting manual quite fun. I would now like to begin using my Olympus MF3rds and hope that those here would help me along that rout. I look forward to being in your good company and sharing this adventure with all of you.
