I'm a few months into a new R6mk3 from a R7 - you can see the lenses I've been using in my bio.
Initial impressions - very favourable - I don't see my R7 (nor my 5dmk4!!) is going to get to much use going forward. I haven't done a direct back to back comparison but I think cropping the R6 is...
If you are lucky they may call you and say "can we deliver on Thursday" so you'll get a bit more time, and if you hire over a BH (Easter is a good one) you'll get the extra days for free :)

I think you are getting the expected results, I am constantly amazed how good the images are from the R7 even when making big crops. BUT the best thing you can do is get as close as possible to your subject, easier said then done of course.
I have a R7 and a 200-800 and while its an amazing...
Heat haze is a funny thing. It can be there one min and gone the next. And there's not a lot you can do about it - except get closer to your subject

Not so cheering was the cost :(

He arranged a visit for a friend and myself when they were not too busy.
We were shown how they could get a print from an undeveloped film in about 9 to 11 minutes, I forget...
Have you seen the Canon "Try the kit" hire scheme?? Pick a hire period over a bank holiday and get more days with the kit above the normal free "Sat/Sun" hire period.
If you are lucky they will call and say "can we send the kit a day early" :)
Very efficient service if you can afford to be in...
There are quite a few useful features in Canon DPP that are now behind a pay wall.
I use LR but every so often I have a dabble in DPP - the other week I was looking at "in focus" focus points to try to improve my technique.
I'll be stopping one of our many video streaming services before I...
Nice Christmas present - I've had mine since 2022 and almost 25K images, the autofocus will look like magic compared to your 70D - especially the subject tracking modes.
Be prepared to do lots of image culling if you use the higher speed drive modes, it's really easy to shoot way more images...
