I would be looking at a Pentax K1000 purely for the reason that many of these cameras will be 30+ years old and there'll be more chance of things being wrong particularly metering. Canon A1 or AE-1 is another option.

Indeed - I, like many have been spoilt in many aspects by digital but I'm hoping that film will suppress some of the bad habits I have got into over the last twenty years.

Just loaded my 40 year old AE-1 with 36 XP2 400 B&W frames. One photo every day or so will see me well into next month!

Sold my Nikon D7100 to get a GH3 and a GX7. The effect on my photos is amazing but I'm not sure why.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure what to think about borders. I use them on some photos and not on others. I would be interested in hearing the general views. I'm sure the subject has been covered on here. I'll take a look.
