Decline in British Manufacturing :(

Not normally my thing, but I knew a place I'd been meaning to photograph for ages. The recent POTY comp prompted me into getting some shots (theme was abandoned). Here's the one I like best. My last set using my trusty 550D and Tamron 17-50 before I got a 5d mkII.

Really like all of these. Wouldn't mind seeing the colour versions too though

The chair in no1 looks in better condition than my office chair!

Hi Joe, it was Trackworks. That place looks similar if it isn't the same. Same red dust everywhere.

It is the same I think... it's the old Pilkington Glass factory next to the canal? Trackworks are the sleeper manufacturers that are next door / using it for storage.

Edit, yes it is, that big production floor is just through to the right in your last photo.
