I'm not getting much good news in my life right now, so a bit of good news is very welcome:)

I've just heard that Lencarta has won the best mains flash award in the Advanced Photographer, for the SuperFast 600.
Apparently the award was made by Advanced Photographer readers, not be the magazine, so I'm pretty chuffed about it.

The award is to be personally made by editor Will Cheung at The Photography Show

Lencarta has a very good range these days, it's strong right from the Smatflash-2 :)
 
Good to read, Garry.
I'd add that in my experience, it isn't just the kit that is top notch but also the expert advice you have freely given me, both at last year's photography show and over the phone.

When looking into buying my lighting Garry gave me an amazing amount of time help and advice - as you say Rob, it isn't just the kit.

Well done Garry - I hope the award helps lift you up a little.

Not been on here for a while but seen this post and have to congratulate gary and lencarta. When I first bought my lighting gary was a massive help and I really appreciate that special customer service. My lencarta lighting is still going strong and can't wait to add the super fast 600 to my collection :ty:

I couldn't agree more. Gary has worked tirelessly to promote the Lencarta brand and freely offered advice about the product and photography in general. You only have to see some of the cynical posts (some quite vitriolic) on certain photography forums a few years ago when he brand was trying to get established. So we'll done, Gary and the team deserve their success.
