South-West England Summer solstice

Regarding solstice can anyone recommend a place to photograph not going to bother with stonehenge as that will be rammed so looking at Avebury or glastonbury tor unless someone knows anywhere else I will be in Bristol that wknd .

As the sun around the summer solstice rises in the north east, the south western shore of Chew Valley Lake might give some good shots with the sun coming up over the lake. Alternatively Beacon Batch on Black Down is an elevated position with a good north easterly view, though foreground interest may be lacking.
