Yes
On another thread someone was saying that every other person runs workshops, but I've never seen any mention of any down in Cornwall, so do you know of anyone who does ?

I'm curious about any sort and at any level..

Google search shows up quite a few available :)

I know gramps, but I was hoping for some sort of personal recommendation from experience !

Hi Steve may I suggest that you contact/join a local Camera Club, see links below, many hold Workshops/Shoots etc that may be useful to youo.

Also an idea of what your main interests are in Photography are may be of help.

Thanks Stryvya - I do know of the St Austell club and may well go along to see what it is like, but the one person I know who is into photography down here and was a member is the archetypal camera club member who will discuss focus stacking for endless hours - not really my thing.

My main interest is people, but it would be good to step outside that and landscapes seem an obvious area but I am open to anything (bar focus stacking...!)

Sorry, didn't pick that up ... a few years ago I did one with John Walmsley and it was very informative and helpful, though it cost a bit less when I did it. It was a full day and we went to various locations between St Agnes and Penzance following a number of specific lessons in exposure and composition and concluded with a sunset shoot. John was a very pleasant and helpful guy and I learned quite a lot from him in addition to having a very enjoyable day.

Thanks gramps - I'll take a look - much appreciated !

I have recently purchased, fitted-out and opened a large photography studio in Redruth. I do intend to run workshops in the future and would welcome any photographers, videographers or other interested persons to visit and let me know what sort of workshops would be of interest.

We are holding an official launch event ( no charge to attend ) on the 29th of September between 11.00am and 8.00pm with product demos and "hands on" use of Hasselblad cameras and Broncolor equipment. Staff from both companies will be present to answer questions and offer advice.

Everyone is welcome to attend the launch event (or at any other time) and the best bit is that it’s free :)

Just type "Photography Workshop in Cornwall" into Google, lots to choose from.
